.-Los Dias Del Abandono

Una pelicula bien rara, sin duda. No en el sentido de una trama extraña o personajes poco comunes, mas bien con el desazon de una pelicula que pudo ser mejor, con un comienzo y final energicos pero un intermedio que hace perder el interes, dialogos y actuaciones un poco flojas (sobretodo en los papeles infantiles), salvan la pelicula momentos con direccion remarcable, como el momento de la aparicion de la lagartija en el cuarto de los hijos de la protagonista. La decoracion de los apartamentos es genial, el heroe de la peli tambien, pero la protagonista es en varias ocasiones insoportablemente irresponsable, por algo se llama los dias del abandono. ni buena ni mala, tipo peli dominguera para un dia en el que quieres que una peli triste te haga asomar un par de sonrisas.

OMG! What a night! What a night! 2 dias, 4 bandas y la mejor hora y media musical de mi vida! no falto ninguna cancion, no hubo cancion que no saltara, cantara, llorara o tarareara! Fran hizo reir y habla hermoso! Todas las bandas estuvieron excelentes y toda la organizacion ufff! pero es que no puedo parar de hablar de Travis! desde que salieron con selfish jean, hasta que se fueron con Why does it always rain on me estuve en un cielo pero totallll!

Many great things happen just by chance...like that great magazine my mom found a few months ago, named Joy it´s pretty pretty cool cause is like a girlie magazine made by a very smart crew, another funny thing about that mag is that a good old friend of mine loved it and when i told her to buy it she told me that she was about to tell me the same!! or like that time on the drugstore and i had years that without eating skittles and i found a bag of chocolate skittles!! damn! or that band i found while i was downloading Leslie Feist´s album, i mean Kings of Convenience is a must on everyone´s ipod! specially the Know how version with Feist! i mean those guitars!! Gosh! or like that person, that person or those persons, usually u meet them by chance, or those dogs you find on the street several times in a week or month and you become friends, or like that dress you almost left behind at the sales and fits so perfectly it soon becomes one of your faves, or that nail polish, the cherry red, the hot pink or the crayola blue one...or that pic...that one when u pressed the shutter at the exact moment!

.- I´m not a big fan of action movies but...

Eagle eye was a good one, got me the whole couple hours with my eyes superextrawideopen! plus i´m becoming a shia lover! he looks a lot like a guy i know (mario, you know it´s you!)...well that was this weekend and today was 88 minutes...also pretty good but i fell asleep for a while (long day at work...don´t ask, i´ll let you know later)... This weekend i went to Creadiseño and bought like a million pins (those things really drive me crazy), a pretty cool bag, and some silly stuff...also i bumped into my good old music lover friend gabs who told me someone really good connected told her that....jummmmmmm....one of my favourite bands is playing this year in this small forgotten country!!! i won´t tell who they are...but...gosh! i hope it´s for real!! i´m already singing and jumping and kicking and screaming!! hey! i´m jogging!! not right now!! i´m hanging there! i´ve been doing it on and off for a few years but i wanna do it for real this time...so i´ll keep up the work! plus i´m also a lot into the yoga world...i´m becoming fan of a lot of stuff lately...well i´m a very big fan of my bed too so i should get some sleep...btw i have a new bed and i loooove it!!

P.S: at work we are big fans of crossword puzzles...but this is serious, i mean we´re freaks!! and it´s pretty fun!

Ok...
-i never saw the trailer for this movie
-i hated felicity cause to me she was one of those girls with a naive look but who gives a lot of trouble
-i have what i call "sentimientos encontrados" for Mr JRM
-had no idea who the director is -and even after i did some research i realized i haven´t seen any of her movies-
-i just walked by the poster a few months ago in a mall and inmediatly fell for it...

-Today i saw it and i have to say is one of those movies that gives you the feeling that everything´s gonna be ok (just what i need right now), that the world is full of magic, love, beats, and that every piece falls into place at the exact right time, there are some pretty cliche parts, i mean the story was pretty good, dialogues were ok, but some parts were way too fantastic, for me to really loooove it like crazy it needed some more down to earth elements, on the other hand i let out a tear or two by the emotion produced by the musical parts, plus they did a pretty good job with the timming on the sound-image-sound-image synch...it really got me into the story, i really admire musicians, enjoy music and have like zero sense of rhythm! jaja! but i walked out of the movie teather wanting more than ever to learn how to play guitar, or well it´ll be enough with any musical talent! jaja! wanting to listen to every song, every band, go to EVERY single concert, show, gig, listen to EVERY record, watch every movie, read every book and share every opinion...wanting to get all the feelings in the world, especially those ones you can get by listening to a song...

Conclution: Run to watch it, share the emotion...

That´s overrating him, i know, but i just came home after watching "The Happening", which i loved as much as his other movies. There´s something about the ambientation, the music, the women, kids and path of his stories that i love, even tho there´s always a little something out of the context, still i like his style sooooooooooo much, it gives me a hitchcockish breeze (jaja, just like in the happening)...i highly recomend this one! =)

.-The perfect love song

It actually is...pay attention to every line...ithas something that no other love song i´ve ever heard has...it talks about timming (cause timming is everything), about that someone you love, loving you back just enough. every metaphore is as illustrative as it can be. it´s a down to earth love song, about suceptibility, efforts and risks and assuming your weekness. I just identify a lot with this song, i even remember the first time i heard this song and it makes me nostalgic, and confused about a lot of things, but well i guess i have a life to find out! I just hope the road keeps being as fun as it has been so far!

.-My Blueberry Nights

I don´t really know Wong Kar Wai, i just saw 2046 (which i hated, i only liked the look of the girls on the futurist side of the story), but from the first time y saw the poster for "My Blueberry Nights" i knew i had to see that movie...and i did it the 1st weekend it was on...and i loooooooooooooooooove it! i really do! it had been a while since the last melancholic/nostalgic/magic/brainylove movie i saw...

If you dig eternal sunshine, garden state, amelie, etc, etc, etc. You have to enjoy this one. I love jude law, his acting is so raw yet sofiticated, norah jones gets to be inocent all the way trough the movie with a lil bit unspiced (does that word even exists??) attitude, natalie portman plays the southern crazy girl role so gracefully that when you try to remember her in closer or V for Vendetta she gets to be a different person, she´s going up on my fave actresses list! and a story carefully knitted with some "secondary" characters with so many problems and emotions that stole me a couple of tears...

Ahhh! y los detalles! los colores! el ambiente en el cafe de Jeremy! Las luces! La velocidad! WKW es un genio visual! Gosh! <3
